at a wine festival dinner i was served this very nice cava (sparkling wine) to start off the evening of dining. the nose was minerals and citrus, with hints of apples and floral notes. the palate was very robust with crisp, zesty lemon peel, a little apple, violet and pear. starting your evening off with a light summer fare or in our case asparagus on top of salmon which rested on a slice of what i think was potato, excellent! good food wine.
