this rhone style red comes from washington state's chateau ste. michelle, who produce some really nice wines. this is a blend of syrah, grenache, cinsault, mourvedre, sangiovese, petit verdot, canernet sauvignon, souzau and touriga. whew! that was a mouthful. and so is this wine. nose of red fruit and spice. on the palate, cherry, leather, chocolate! yummy. silky. long, finish which will leave a smile on your face. this is good all by itself or maybe with that grilled steak you have been thinking about now that the weather is nice. priced at about $15, a real steal for this big wine.
