the comely brunette and i were at the wine store recently and were intrigued by the description on this one so we picked up a bottle. this is 100% torrontes, a grape that apparently has a long history in argentina. it had a nose of honey and some citrus and floral notes. the palate was refreshing, with similar honey notes. i also got floral and spice notes as well. this would make a very nice summer time wine and the price was very nice at about $8. i will have to revisit this one in the warmer weather.
